Request

A request is answered sooner when it states:

  • the name of the application;
  • the iPhone model and the iOS version;
  • what happened and when;
  • for a purchase question, the Apple order ID shown in the emailed receipt.

Questions

  1. How is a subscription cancelled?

    On the iPhone, under Settings / Apple ID / Subscriptions: the application is selected and the subscription cancelled. Auto-renewal must be off a full 24 hours ahead of the end of the paid period; access stays open until that date.

  2. How is a refund requested?

    Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple alone. A request is filed at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple ID that made the purchase.

  3. How is a Stay Near account deleted?

    In the app itself, at any time. The profile, the location history, the saved places and the friend connections are then removed from the servers. A later launch may create a new account automatically.

  4. How is location sharing in Stay Near stopped?

    By removing a person from the friend list or by changing the sharing permissions. Location access for the app can also be switched off in the iPhone settings.

  5. How long is the Stay Near location history kept?

    Up to 40 days.

  6. How is BibleRay chat history deleted?

    Where the app offers the function, the history is deleted on the device. Erasure of the copy held on the servers is requested by email to apps@magit.info.

  7. How is access to personal data requested?

    By email to apps@magit.info, naming the application. The identity of the requester may have to be confirmed first. A reply is sent within thirty days.

  8. How is a copyright concern reported?

    By email to apps@magit.info, identifying the material and giving contact details for a reply.
